I don’t know what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn’t this.
I spent the better part of last week on Scotland’s Isle of Skye frolicking through the hills with my friend Dayna. By the way, if you haven’t seen those posts yet, you should check out some of the stunning scenery we saw here and here.
While I was busy singing “the hills are alive”, my poor, unfortunate husband was stuck in rainy Edinburgh all by himself. He had to go shopping, make his own meals, go to work, and clean the flat all by himself.
I had a lot of faith in his abilities to adult all week, but I didn’t expect what I came home to.
Not only did I come home to a spotless flat, but dinner was on the table and there was a beautiful pot of “I Love You” flowers on the table.
I don’t share nearly as often as I should just how wonderful Blythe is. He deserves to be bragged on all the time. I don’t know how I got so lucky.
Begonias are one of the few types of flower that my mom can’t kill. Unfortunately, I think I’ve inherited her not so green thumb. Hopefully I can keep these love flowers alive for a while!
